So i looked into it a bit and found out that wordpress backend product search is prioritize by published date how can i make it search according to the name of the product instead of publish date ?

    Hi @ezeelo2,

Just to get the full context, kindly share with us a full screenshot of your product search results page.

I recommend https://snipboard.io for sharing screenshots – please follow the instructions on the page, then paste the URL in this chat. It works with Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Edge.

    Thanks.

    Hi @ezeelo2,

Looking at that page, I see there’s some “cornerstone content” that’s not coming from WooCommerce.

As a first step, you’ll want to check whether the sorting is not being affected by other tools you have on your site.

Thus, kindly follow the following steps while testing whether the sorting relevance of the search results improves: https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/how-to-test-for-conflicts/#section-4

Let us know how it goes.

    Thanks.
