Backend is Stuck/Gone/Not Working

  • I have a woocommerce site. Site was working fine. I deleted a couple of products from the products area and got this screen:

    This is the screen I get no matter where I go on the back end. Front end seems to work fine. Clicking the update button does nothing. Clicking anything does nothing (though the site does appear to be “going” somehwere, as I can see on the bottom left it is trying to go toa page . . . it just always arrives to the screenshot above.

    No idea what happened here. Help?

    Try manually resetting your plugins (no Dashboard access required). If that resolves the issue, reactivate each one individually until you find the cause.

    If that does not resolve the issue, access your server via SFTP or FTP, or a file manager in your hosting account’s control panel, navigate to /wp-content/themes/ and rename the directory of your currently active theme. This will force the default theme to activate and hopefully rule-out a theme-specific issue (theme functions can interfere like plugins).
