Backend: connect() timed out!

Hi,
I always get a timeout and so I’m not able to save anything. I use WP 4.3.1, the actual plugin release and a Themeforest Theme (‘Jupiter’, https://themeforest.net/item/jupiter-multipurpose-responsive-theme/5177775). This is the only issue around in this installation so far.
Any ideas?
