    Hello guys,

my backend is broken after updating on 2.0.2. I get the following error message:
“Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ‘::’ (T_PAAMAYIM_NEKUDOTAYIM) in /XXX/wp-content/plugins/the-seo-framework-extension-manager/inc/traits/core/ui.trait.php on line 174”

How can I fix this immediately?

    Thanks!

    Best regards
    Sandro

    Hi Sandro,

Thanks for reporting this issue! It was a compatibility issue with PHP 5.6 and below; it’s caused by a coding style oversight, which I thought was available on PHP 5.5 and later.

I’ve just fixed this with the Extension Manager v2.0.3. For those who are stuck, update instructions are provided on that page.

For future public inquiries regarding the Extension Manager, please refer to the support channel at GitHub.

Note to mods: the plugin in question is FOSS
