• I get this alert in admin: “Your backup folder MIGHT be visible to the public
    To correct this issue, move the .htaccess file from wp-content/plugins/wp-dbmanager to /home/ruthblog/public_html/wp-content/backup-db “

    at the top of each page; I’ve moved the file as instructed — albeit the file seems to have a txt suffix — but still the alert persists. Any help would be most appreciated…….the blog works fine, it’s just annoying and I have other client admins who keep asking about it….

    An .htaccess file shouldn’t have any suffix. Try renaming the moved file to remove the .txt
