back up of site

does anyone have experience with backing up of websites, in particular, this theme? I would like a reliable plugin that works with virtue theme. I don’t understand alot of technical terms. Is there a plugin or a good tutorial that would show me how to back up? Is it necessary to back up manually or is a plug in good enough? Sorry this is all new to me. Appreciate the help.
