Back to Basics

I have successfully installed the application. I am very familiar with xhtml,php, css and javascript coding. However, I am new to Word Press. It is unclear what code to place on any page of my website https://www.networkingcredit.com
Once I know what code to enter and where to enter it I think I can continue to build the website. I also only want it to appear on one specific page. I know I may have to alter some code to redirect to other pages, but I’m not sure where to start.
