    Hi there,

I have a question about the following scenario. We have a product that is only available for a certain period each year. When the product goes out of stock, customers can subscribe to be notified when it’s back in stock. After the product runs out, we schedule it to be published again several months later. However, when we adjust the stock quantity ahead of the scheduled publication date, the back-in-stock notification is sent out immediately, instead of when the product is actually published.

Is there a way to ensure that these notifications are sent only when the product is published, rather than instantly when the stock quantity is updated, even if the product is still in a scheduled status?

    Thank you for your help.

    Hello there,

    Good Day!!

We’re here to assist you with this one.

We suggest that you enable the option “Consider Only Published Product Status” (Admin Dashboard > Instock Notifier > Settings > Mail Settings > Consider Only Published Product Status).

With this option, in-stock emails will be sent only for published products. Products with private or draft statuses will not be considered.

    Thanks.
