Thank you for the details. The administration dashboard of a WordPress site often does place the infrastructure under strain, as the admin side of the site cannot be cached in the same way that the front-end of a website might be.

We would recommend that your database caching be considered; secondly, that you implement an object caching layer using Redis or a similar system.

Could you please elaborate on the type of errors you are seeing? Are they 502 or 503 gateway timeout errors? In WooCommerce > Status > logs, are you seeing any fatal errors? What nature of error is reported?

The errors found are related to plugins that I deactivated, but the problems still exist. The site is on a VPS with also another site with woocommece that has the same problems

Hi,

I understand you are using a VPS hosting, and that the navigation through the backend is slow.

Please note, a VPS (Virtual Private Server) hosting is a type of web hosting in which multiple virtual servers are created on a single physical server using virtualization technology. Each VPS acts as an independent and isolated environment, running its own operating system, resources, and applications.

While VPS hosting offers better performance than shared hosting, it still has limited resources compared to dedicated hosting, where an entire physical server is dedicated to a single user.

I’m not sure if that could be the issue. I’d suggest running a conflict test, to see if that helps you find the cause of the issue.

Hi, I tried disabling all plugins in diagnostic mode and using the default WP theme. The backend in this case is fine, as soon as the woocommerce plugin is active the problem arises and the browser remains in a blank page. To make it go on I have to use F5 or close the browser and start it again.

the same thing happens on the second ecommerce site I have in the VPS. There are two sites on the same VPS:

– gbmedicali.it
