back button popup no alert on desktop

Several other plugins allow the back button on desktop to trigger the popup, not just mousing out of the window. I may be missing something, but is there no way with your plugin to trigger popup on the back button on desktop, WITHOUT sending that browser alert thing? I just want the back button to trigger the popup like it does on mobile, without a browser alert.
