Back button not returning me to the blog

Hello people,

Pretty much as per title. This happens only when I click on a link to a site I have created elsewhere’s index.html – other links in my blog to other pages in the site are fine. I can just click the back button and return to my blog – but not from the home page. My site is in flash embedded into the html using javascript, swfobject.js, to be precise.

I am using FF on ubuntu 10.10, maverick meerkat.

I have tried it in IE 8 and that was fine.

Safari and Chrome refused to play ball. Mind you the html needs some sorting as the rendering in both those browsers needs urgent sorting my end.

My hosts (UK2) are on Linux servers.
