AWS uploads fail on slow connection
-
Hello nMedia,
We really need to find a fix for this.
When uploading a file on a slow internet connection, the file fails to upload.
In my Google Chrome console, if I click on the Network Tab & select the AWS request, under response I see this:
<?xml version=”1.0″ encoding=”UTF-8″?>
<Error>AuthorizationHeaderMalformed
<Message>The authorization header is malformed; the region ‘us-east-1’ is wrong; expecting ‘eu-west-2′</Message><Region>eu-west-2</Region><RequestId>327C9C026CDB7D243</RequestId><HostId>y2prmGIK+6goJrLZRA142fue/EcVc2WSBCp7WIHULRsoePSoIJt7DVkRN9F32$1=</HostId></Error>This points to a timeout issue?
You can replicate this your side using the following settings:
In Google Chrome Developer Tools, under Network Conditions, choose:
Caching: Unchecked
Network Throttling: Slow 3G
User agent: Select automaticallyThen upload a file larger than 15MB.
Please could you try the above?
This is using the latest plugin here & pro plugins from our client area.
Kind regards
