    Hi,

Thanks for the info, unfortunately this problem is near impossible for me to recreate, my credentials validate fine.

I tried to go through the process of creating another amazon account but the AWS account has to be directly linked to an associate account. To get a valid associate account you need a fully functioning website for them to review and approve your application.

Going through the process there are three things to make sure you do when setting up your AWS keys:

1/ The AWS account must use the same login credentials as a valid affiliate account.
2/ The AWS account must be registered with the Amazon Product Advertising API:
    https://affiliate-program.amazon.co.uk/gp/advertising/api/details/main.html
3/ You have to use your root account credentials, IAM roles and not supported.

So unless some kind sole sends me some root account credentials that they know work (e.g. by testing them at the API Scratchpad, but don’t work in the plugin, I can’t fix the problem.

If your willing to donate your credentials for a day or two send them to: amazon_link_keys [at] redtom.co.uk.

    Thanks,

    Paul

I am having the same problem. What I don’t understand is the vocabulary. I changed my logins to be the same, but is a private key the same as a “secret” key? I can’t seem to find a “secret” key anywhere. Is that because it’s a secret, even from me? ??
