AWS Instance is running, but can't connect to website all of a sudden.

  • Eeek! I started to get alerts that my site is down and sure enough it is. I am able to SSH into the instance, but I can’t figure out why the site is no longer accessible. It doesn’t help matters that I’m still learning AWS. But the site has been up and running just fine for about 4 or so months now. It’s running on Ubuntu with a LEMP stack. Please help!

    I can also SFTP into the server, I’m at a loss. Nothing has changed.

    What does this have to do with WordPress? What error message says this is a WordPress fault?

    Look at the server logs. Reboot the instance.

    If the site is aftercredits.com, the A Record for DNS points to both GoDaddy and AWS. Did you change DNS?
