Awin ‘Convert-a-Link’ Tool

    Hi.

    First of all – Best wishes for the year 21!

    Do You have any experiences with this tool? We have a lot of partner at Awin and use it – but it seems to get in conflict with Your cloaking tool. If activated no clicks are tracked.

    I don’t have any experience with that tool but I don’t see how it could have any effect.

    Does Convert a Link integrate with WooCommerce?

    Hi.

    It′s function is just to regocnize ‘normal’ links (without all that affiliate stuff attached) from partners on the own site and ‘convert’ them.

    Maybe it′s worth a look.

    We decided already to drop this and use the ‘old’ affiliate links – just to be sure. This works well with Your plugin.

    I don’t see how there could be a conflict.

    When you cloak your WooCommerce links with our plugin, the URL that gets displayed on your site is an internal link. So I don’t know why the tool would try to convert a link to an internal URL…

    I wonder if the Convert tool scans and crawls all links on the page? That would seem a bit much but maybe that’s happening…
