Based on the description of your issue it sounds like your browser cached the plugin activation URL which redirects you from plugins.php to our plugin settings.
This is not expected behavior of the browser which means something may modify your website logic such as managed WordPress solution, broken object-cache configuration or some browser extension.
The simplest solution for you would be to try with incognito mode without any browser extensions, alternatively you can use clean profile different browser such as Edge <-> Chrome <-> Safari.
Let me know if that resolves your issue, in the past only one person reported similar issue but it was resolved by cache clear, we would like to identify this issue which would allow us to fix it within the plugin permanently.
