"Awesome" Twenty Fourteen mobile menu not showing

Hi,

I have implemented the changes as seeing in the following post https://premium.wpmudev.org/blog/how-to-make-twenty-fourteen-or-any-other-wp-theme-super/ on my website: https://kidscampscanada.com/

Most of the changes worked, except the “mobile menu” It seems that is not recognized and when seeing on a mobile it keeps on bringing the regular menu which is way to long for a mobile.

I’ve tried starting from the beginning of the changes. Add a mobile-specific sidebar to the theme that slides out. I also change the mobile menu button to activate the slide-out. Added the Sidr plugin, nothing.

Any help would be appreciated.

I really love the look this “change” reflects and would prefer not to have to revert to a different option.
