Awesome Plugin – A Few Questions

    Hey guys,
    First of all I love the plugin so far. Very straight forward and it just works which is awesome. I had a few questions about Pro and when that might be coming.

    • Is it possible to load multiple post types into the same calendar with their own color?
    • Is it possible or will it be possible with Pro to load custom field data into the event item on the calendar? For example if I wanted to show more than just the name of the post in the event?
    • When choosing an all-day event it, ending it lets say on Wednesday only shows the event going through Tuesday…is that by design? Is there a method to show the event through the ending day instead of ending the day before?
    • Do you guys have plans for making a front-end form for creating events/posts or integrating with form builders such as Gravity Forms?

    Thanks so much for the awesome free WordPress calendar solution and I can’t wait to see what features Pro holds!

    Hey Clayton! Thanks so much for the great feedback. Answers to your questions below.

    • We are working on color coded events in the Pro version, which will allow you to set a color for all posts of the same type automatically. You could then just set the same color across your post types to achieve the desired result here.
    • As of right now, we don’t have plans to add in custom field data, but that’s definitely worth future consideration. We’ll add it it to our feature requests board.
    • I see why this is confusing. I would recommend for simplicity sake to turn off the all-day toggle so your event spans the correct number of days and set the times accordingly. I would like to give this more thought. Thank you for bringing this to my attention!
    • Front end form submission is definitely on the radar and has been requested more than once. We aren’t going to be creating our own form, but instead making it really easy to add event data to posts via the popular form plugins like Gravity Forms, Fluent Forms, etc.
