• This plugin is awesome people should try to understand that no product or feature is created perfect at first, products become better through constructive criticism and version improvements.

People should rather state the features they want in the plugin and what they don’t want, this will guide the developers in improving the plugin.
I remember what wordpress was like 6-7 years ago but now its different and more powerful.

  • I completely agree with you regarding ‘no product or feature is created perfect at first’ – so why is this being touted as the new core editor for WordPress 5.0 when it is far from ready. My concern is that as this will have such an impact on the everyday operation of EVERY WordPress site so it MUST be ready for launch – and if that takes ‘6-7 years’ then so be it…

A lot of people feel that the Gutenberg developers are not listening to their comments – hence so many negative reviews. If there was some clarity on how this will impact on existing site upgrades, or at least address the many many concerns that this will be forced on users, then people might have a more positive view of Gutenberg.

I do want to like it, however the implementation approach shows no concern for the user base that has made WordPress what it is.
