Awesome at first glance, but doesn’t really work

  • I was hand-over-head over this plugin, but then found issues:

    1) only shows once in browsers across devices.
    2) Hide bar after x secconds, automatically approves the cookie settings.
    3) Doesn’t show at all. Perhaps a Theme and Plugin -conflict.

    So I will have to search for another Plugin.

    Hi @trondur,

    Sorry for the inconvenience caused.

    1. Once accepted, it won’t show up again in the same browser. Since you have auto-hide enabled, it automatically accept after the delay. Try opening the site from a private window or incognito window to see the banner again.

    2. You can disable the auto hide option from the settings. Go to GDPR Cookie Consent > Settings > General > Auto-hide(Accept) cookie bar after delay? > Set NO.

    3. We will address it via the support forum post you posted in which you have shared the site URL.
