Unlike other slideshow plugins, this plugin allows for independent slide show creation unattached to a particular page or post (useful when trying to incorporate a slideshow onto a theme-controlled homepage, for example). Slideshows are easy to configure and allow multiple formats (photo/text/video). I had trouble with several other slideshow plugins before using this one – it provides exactly what I need and works well.
