Avoiding wordpress.com in my url

Thanks Clayton, i have no host yet, may use Host Gator. i m trying to avoid the step i see many taking in trying to remove the url before it happens.

If your site isn’t hosted on wordpress.com then you won’t start off with a wordpress.com domain, so you don’t have anything to worry about.
