I was told I would be able to continue using the plugin once support had expired. That was not the case. They say you will just lose access to downloads and support once your support expires but can continue to use the plugin. I can attest that is not the case. I was contacted by a customer who had their WP installation hacked. WP-Property was the only plugin installed so draw your own conclusions there. After cleaning up their site and moving it to a new hosting provider, the Denali theme suddenly became unregistered. No problem. I logged into my account that shows my license key and paste it to activate it and I am denied because my support was expired. I would stay away. Not only do I suspect it is not secure, but their licensing policy will bite you eventually unless you want to keep paying them every year.

Hello – there seems to be a misunderstanding here.

An expired license doesn’t disable the product in any form. If the license expires, you can continue using it and we don’t do anything to disable WP-Property, WP-Property Add-ons, or WP-Property Themes, or any other part of your WordPress website.

I can see you sent us a support ticket just hours ago (the first contact from you from what I can see). I have asked Elena – a member of our full time support staff – to respond to your ticket tonight.

I’ll be watching the issue and our team will make sure the issue is resolved in a timely manner. Thanks

Thanks for your quick response. All I know is after migrating the site, the Denali plugin said it was not activated and when I attempted to re-activate it, it said it couldn’t because my support was expired. After that i tried removing my activation from the license portal and then reactivate and even reinstalled the Denali theme from my original download to no avail. The error message even said I couldn’t activate because my support had expired which is why I didn’t believe this to be a bug.

I completely understand having to pay for continued support and development for new versions (and we have renewed it previously) but paying to activate the version I already purchased. That was my primary complaint here.

I did receive an update from your support after my review but the customer already requested I remove the plugin anyway due to the license issue and as it was the only plugin installed during the malware insertion into his site (and he WordPress was kept up to date). Thanks for your response.

So, what is the answer to this? Are we still able to use the plugins with an expired licence? What happens if the licence gets deleted automatically like has been happening to me for the last few weeks? I have had to re-enter the licences several times.

    Hello @miclovin

The product still can be used after the license has been expired. Download permissions are also expiring so you need to be sure you have zip files on your local machine. If you have any issue with licenses you can contact us and our support, represented by me, will help you.

    Kind Regards.
