Well, that redirect is indeed happening.

Do you have a .htaccess file in the same directory as WordPress’s login.php file?

If so, what is the contents of that file?

Ok, can you paste the contents here?

Also, what do you have set as the two URLs at Settings -> General in your blog’s Dashboard?

Hm, yeah I don’t see any redirects there.

Try re-saving your permalink structure at Settings/Permalinks in your admin panel. If WordPress cannot automatically edit the .htaccess file, it will provide manual instructions after saving.

If that makes no differences, try downloading WordPress again and delete then replace your copies of everything except the wp-config.php file and the /wp-content/ directory with fresh copies from the download. This will effectively replace all of your core files without damaging your content and settings. Some uploaders tend to be unreliable when overwriting files, so don’t forget to delete the original files before replacing them.

I’vw re-save the permalinks and now i get that message

To speed up page load times for visitors of your site, remove as many landing page redirections as possible, and make any required redirections cacheable if possible.

    https://feraspis.gr/ is a cacheable (8 days) redirect to https://feraspis.gr/archiki/

The diference now is that “cacheable (8 days).

I suppose that just means that W3TC kicked in, but what about the reinstall?

    Thread Starter ZeuS-X-

    (@zeus-x-)

    I’m on to it know.
the new doesn;t have .htaccess. Is that normal?

    Thread Starter ZeuS-X-

    (@zeus-x-)

    Done, but nothing changed.
    https://feraspis.gr/ is the url
https://feraspis.gr/archiki/ takes you to the home page.
Do you think that has anything to do with the structure of the menu pages?

    (@macmanx)

Do you have a file named index.html or home.html in the same directory as WordPress’s wp-login.php file?

    Thread Starter ZeuS-X-

    (@zeus-x-)

I don’t have neither index or home

    Moderator James Huff

    (@macmanx)

    You have index.php though, right?

    Thread Starter ZeuS-X-

    (@zeus-x-)

    yeap.

    (@macmanx)

Ok, at this point I recommend getting in touch with your hosting provider. Maybe you have set something in your hosting provider’s control panel to trigger the redirect.

    Thread Starter ZeuS-X-

    (@zeus-x-)

Ok, thank you very much for your help on the subject.
Maybe we will talk again. I will call my host and let them know about it to see if we can fix it.
Thank you again for your time.
