Avoid redirects?

Hi! I am using this plugin to add a login/logout button to my navigation, and for that it works great! However I am also using another script to set different login areas for users with different levels of access. This plugin overrides them. Is there any way I can disable the login redirection, and just use the navigation buttons i.e. only change the login state of the user? ??
