Avoid deleting pages with internal links pointing to them

    Does anyone know a way in which you can create a warning message that pops up before you delete a page/post that has internal links within your site pointing to it.

    Installing a broken links checker can warn you afterwards if you’ve created a broken link, but our site has several editors and a large number of hits and it is really inconvenient to have to go and fix broken links after they have been created and been live to the public for any amount of time.

    Any ideas or thoughts gratefully accepted!
