Avoid blog categories page/2/ , page/3/, page/../ indexing

but i would like to index some tags and categories…i would like to avoid the pagination indexing

create/edit your robots.txt file in the root folder of your WordPress installation, and add the following :

User-agent: *
Disallow: */page/*

This will prevent indexing of the pagination pages that look like :

• https://www.your-website.com/page/2/
• https://www.your-website.com/tag/page/2/
• https://www.your-website.com/category/page/2/
