Avoid ads pubblication without user account

    Hi,

    We made a lot of test but we haven’t found any way to avoid the pubblication of an ad if you haven’t a user account.

    It’s in italian, but it say literally “Contact Informations” on top, and then, the message is “Create an account to manage all my ads (password will be emailed to you) or Log in”

    For us, it is perfectly fine whether the user creates an account at the time of publishing the ad, or logs in with his account.

    The problem is that creating the account is optional, and if you don’t check the box, the account won’t be created.

    We do not want ads to be published without there being a reference account both for contacts and for the user to manage.

    Is there a way to force account creation or login?

    It is also good for us that the new ad page can only be seen if you are logged in and if this is not the case, propose registration or login.

    For now we allowed only registered users to add an ad, but the one-step registration within the pubblication of the ad is interesting and we want enable it.

    There isn’t an option to force ser registration i am afraid.

    @caprsupport You wrote that you only allow registered users to add an ad. How do you enforce this?

    It would be great if the checkbox (“create an account”) on the publish page would be ticked by default and the user could not untick it. How can this be achieved? May one has to hard-code it into the plugin code.

    Alternatively, you could ignore the input to the checkbox and send the user a registration email regardless of his choice.

    (Reason for my questions: we want the people to be able to delete their ads without contacting an admit of the site.)

    Hi,

    to allow only registered users to post ads go to the wp-admin / Pages panel, edit the page with the Classifieds Publish block.

    Click on the block, and in the right sidebar in the “Capability required to publish” type “read” then only users with the “read” capability (that is any logged in user by default) will be able to post Ads other users will be asked to either register or login.
