  • Hi @jonswift53,

I’m sorry that our Lite version doesn’t seem to fit your needs for now. Our team has worked hard to make sure that our free version includes everything needed to create a basic contact form.

The Standard Fields like the Single Line Text and Paragraph Text fields can be used to collect any information you’d like.

You can also set up form notifications to send out form submission details, or add users as email subscribers when you connect WPForms to Constant Contact. If your Email Notifications are not working, you can check that your form notification settings are configured correctly by following our tutorial.

If your notification settings are correct, the issue is likely because the emails sent from WordPress are not authenticated (unlike emails sent directly from dedicated email service providers).

As a result, they are likely to be filtered by the receiving mail server. To resolve email delivery issues like this, you can configure a SMTP plugin on your site so that emails are sent as authenticated. We have an article with a list of recommended SMTP options and links to their setup tutorials.

If you’d like more help with using WPForms Lite, please feel welcome to post in our WPForms Lite support forum.

    Thanks!

My complaint is that I paid for the pro version because the lite version doesn’t allow notifications so what’s the point. However, I could not update to professional, and the help didn’t get that I am using on a private network. It seems like I get form letters. Anyway done!

    Hi @jonswift53,

Thanks for following up on this.

As I’ve mentioned in my initial reply, our Lite version does have an Email Notification feature. If the emails were not arriving, it has -most likely- been caused by an email delivery issue.

If you have an active license subscription with us (as you’ve mentioned that you paid for Pro), could you please submit a support ticket through the WPForms account dashboard when you have a chance??

From there, our support team will be able to take a closer look at your request and help you with any issue you might be experiencing.

    Thanks!
