AVIF option is greyed out

    I want to serve images in avif, but the AVIF option is greyed out in my compressx dashboard. How can I solve this?

    Hello @baksteendegeweldige

    Please note that AVIF conversion requires that the GD or Imagick libraries installed on the server support AVIF.

    You can check whether your ImageMagick support AVIF on the System Information tab of CompressX plugin. See this example?screenshot

    Ok thanks, that is clear.

    I am on a Cloudways server.

    Both GD and Imagick do not support avif on my server.

    I have submitted this issue to Cloudways support.
    They are looking into it and will let me know within 12 hours.
