Avenue for high quality photos
-
I am looking for some opinions on how to go about using high quality photos in my website, while still maintaining efficient use of storage as well as not having super large photos for people to cache when they visit.
I want to use some high quality photos that are mostly around 5 or 6 MB’s, some that are over 8MB. I have both Smush and ShortPixel, but I don’t know which one (or a different one) will benefit me the most, how I am supposed to use them, or how they work. When I upload the photo, and then use it in a sliding gallery in UX builder, does the plugin compress the photo to something reasonable? Or do I have to use a different version that it creates after I upload? I have a bunch more questions as I did look into this a while ago, but I’ve kept it short for brevity.
Thanks
