Avatars not displaying

  • We’re working on a WordPress blog, and we have a system for users to upload avatars. When they don’t have avatars, the blank default image is displayed. However, when someone tries to upload an image, what they will see is an empty box (the avatar’s frame) with their name in text in the box. It looks like the image can’t be found by the system and reverts to showing a text logo.

    However, we can see the files on the server, so we’re not sure what’s going on – they should be available to the system.

    Does anyone know what’s going on/how to fix it?
