I have wordpress installed in a folder “/wordpress” and I recently changed the Site Address (URL) to point to the root, and the WordPress Address to point to my “/wordpress” folder. The avatar shows a broken image for this.

My solution: I went to the plugin editor and edited the paths.php folder. everywhere where it had “/wp-content” I changed to “/wordpress/wp-content” and it works!

Please fix for future versions. Thanks!

  • Same issue. Thanks for the temporary fix.

Had same issue. Thanks for the temporary fix advise.

Just want to add that , not all instance of “/wp-content” should be changed. Specifically. All that are concatenated with ABSPATH should not be touched as it points to the root of the wordpress anyway. In this case, only one place was given the temporary fix – line 26. Where the gravatar url is built with get_bloginfo(‘url’).

    StarBox version 2.1.3

I too hope the next version fixes this.

    Cheers.

    Hey,

    Fixed in version 3.0.2

    Thanks for the feedback

Hmm… After upgrading to 3.0.2, I was still seeing the problem. Adding the site’s subfolder to paths.php line 22, the _ABH_GRAVATAR_URL_, seems to have fixed the issue temporarily.
