    Hi guys,

So apparently on my site, I’m trying out your plugin and I really like it thus far. However, there is an issue regarding WP User Manager. Whenever I change my profile picture on that end, it doesn’t change it. Is there a way to make these two plugins compatible with one another?

    Hi @seanking2919,

thank you for reeaching out. What would be your preferred solution: simply disabling Avatar Privacy’s built-in avatar uploads, or integrating with WP User Manager in a way that still does all the resizing and caching?

Ok. So before I give my preferred solution. I want to show what the main issue is. The main issue behind this from what I see is that the avatar upload sections are totally separate. Avatar Privacy Section: https://files.catbox.moe/49nr71.PNG and WP User Manager section for avatar upload: https://files.catbox.moe/seej24.PNG

With that issue being said, I think disabling Avatar Privacy’s built-in avatar uploads would be the best solution IMO. If you recommend otherwise, let me know.

You could also disable the user avatar handling in WP User Manager (they have separate setting for that). The Profile Picture section itself is a core WordPress thing (Avatar Privacy overwrites it to remove references to Gravatar).

That being said, I’ve got a proof-of-concept for the “integrated” variant running on my computer, so I’ll see explore that direction. WP User Manager always uses the full size image by itself, which is suboptimal from a performance standpoint.

Alright. Sounds good. I’m thinking I’ll try out that “integrated” variant you say you have a proof-of-concept for.
