[avatar] not displaying custom image in page

Hi,
I have installed your plugin. I have disabled gravatar support.

I have a page where I want to display the logged in user’s avatar, so I put the shortcode [avatar] in the page. When a user visits that page, when they are logged in, the default no avatar image is displayed rather than the uploaded avatar. In the top admin bar, the uploaded avatar is being displayed properly, just not in the page code where the [avatar] shortcode is.

How do I get the logged in user’s avatar to display in a page (not post)?
