Avatar Issues – same avatar appearing in lightbox

Thank you for using MediaPress.
Can you please upgrade to the latest version of MediaPress and check.

I just checked and it seems to be working fine for me(I checked by commenting with different user account).

Please give it a try and let me know. I am hoping that upgrading should fix it.

I’m using the latest version 1.02. The Avatars are still the same.

Is there any chance that you had moved the template files from MediaPress to your theme earlier?

The fix was in the lightbox-comment.php as shown here

Yes they are the same users. They do have avatars set up. Ill try to disable and enable avatars again and see if it works out.

I have the latest avatar fix by the way:

echo bp_core_fetch_avatar ( array( 'item_id' => mpp_get_media_creator_id(), 'object'=> 'members', 'width' => bp_core_avatar_thumb_width(), 'height'=> bp_core_avatar_thumb_height() ) );

That is very strange then. Is it only happening for MediaPress or do you see something similar in members directory too? I am sorry but I don’t understand what may be causing is.

Is there any avatar related plugin active on the site?

It is very strange. It is only happening in the lightbox of any mediapress upload. Members directory and all other directories have the right avatars.

I tried disabling and enabling avatars and changing the type of avatars but it didn’t work.

I don’t have any avatar related plugins.

Please wait. It may be a bug. Just noticed this behavior on one of our test installs. Looking into it now.

Sorry it won’t be feasible. I can send you some debugging information if that helps. I have buddypress v1.0.2 could those changes have affected changes in v1.0.1.

No worries. In fact, it was a bug. While testing again, Ravi found it and fixed it.

It was a mistake on my part and it did no manifest when the users had avatar on my system(may be some other setting), so I was not able to find it.

The fix is available on github and We will be pushing a new release a little late today with many other enhancements.
