[NSFW] Avatar is not showing

    I am using Starbox for a couple of years now, together with WP User Avatars.
    Recently I noticed that no Avatar is showing (not Gravatar, not WP User Avatar) for any of the authors.

    Please help.

    I see that the images you add in the author box are not accessible.

    Did you add any security plugins recently or change the server configuration?

    Thanks for your reply.

    I am not aware of any changes to the server config, nor did I add a security plugin. I did add WP-optimize, but deactivating it didn’t work, so I guess that is not causing the issue.

    What server config should I change to enable access?

    I’ve managed to reset the htaccess file by doing the following:

    To generate a fresh .htaccess file, log in to your WordPress dashboard and click on Settings -> Permalinks.
    Without making any changes, click the Save Changes button at the bottom of the page.

    This worked, so I assume the htacces was corrupt.
