• Hi,

For some unknown reason, the Avatar image not visible in Users > Profile > Avatar after selecting an avatar from the Media Library.

I’m using WordPress 6.2.2 and PHP 8.1.21 on a Litespeed webserver.
Can you please look at this issue?

    Thanks in advance!

    Regards, J Karel

Curious if you’re able to look at your server logs and see if any errors/warnings/notices are being shown? I’m also not familiar with Litespeed but wondering if there could be some caching at play here?

    Hi Darin,

No errors/warnings/notices are being shown as far as I can see. Only seeing a blank space where the avatar should be displayed:

If you inspect that space in the browser, is there an actual image tag that points somewhere? Do you get any errors in the console, like a 404 error for the image?

No errors in the console when inspecting the div. Only these warnings:

This page uses the non-default 'zoom' property. Consider using calc() in the relevant property values ??or use 'transform' together with 'transform-origin: 0 0'. user-edit.php

This website appears to use a scroll-linked positioning effect. This may not work well with asynchronous panning; see https://firefox-source-docs.mozilla.org/performance/scroll-linked_effects.html for further details and contributing to the discussion of related tools and features!

The inspector shows this info regarding the image container:

The avatar image does show on the front-end, btw.

    Just an update on this….

Unlike other add a profile picture plugins, If you happen to have ‘Show Avatars’ unchecked, nothing will show up. Similarly, if you have Comments disabled, you can’t even get to the ‘Settings’ page to do anything.

And if you are wanting larger images to be used for author bios, you’re out of luck with this one as it will only display a 48x48px image.
