Available widget areas with 2020

  • When looking at widget areas for 2020, I only see footer 1 and footer 2
    How can we make more areas there? I mean other than footer 1 and 2?

  • Without looking at the theme files:
    – Setup a child theme
    – copy “footer.php” from the parent theme directory to your child theme directory and customise it.
