    Hello,
I have problem with pole “Available until” in ticket Advanced Options on creating event. is a support balloon informing that if the field is empty, there will be no limit on the date of application capability. When you create and click publish or update an event, the start date of the event is automatically inserted. In addition, when importing events from csv, the event does not receive this parameter because there are no matadata for this field. Therefore, imported events after import are in the published status but without application possibility (“This offer is fully booked.”), because this parameter is not set. Only when you enter an event and click on update is the start date automatically assigned. Is it possible to create metadata for this field in order to be able to add this field when importing events?

    Greetings,
    Damian

  • Importing events is not supported by EM, because the info is spread over several tables that all need to link together with the correct ID’s. Also, EM is extremely flexible and allows for many, many different options, settings and configurations. So a simple import would not be sufficient.

Importing a post bypasses any process/function that is defined within the plugin, as it does not trigger those functions.

When you manually (re)publish an event all triggers for all meta in all tables will be executed. by the plugin, based on your blogs settings.

I know the official Dev Team has been working on an import-plugin for quite some time now. The fact that they have not released it yet, shows how complicated it must be. ??
