Hi, a client has backorder set for a lot of products 200+. These can be usually obtained within 4 days. Is there anyway that we could set a default 4 days Availability date on all the products? Don’t really want to be going in and changing the date every day on each product! ??

    Thanks

    Hi there!

There isn’t a built-in option to set available dates for backorders. Do you mean pre-orders?

    For further troubleshooting:

    1. Could you please share a copy of your site’s System Status? You can find it via WooCommerce > Status. Select “Get system report” and then “Copy for support”.? Once you’ve done that, paste it here in your response.
    2. Along with that, please also share a screenshot of the page you’re configuring the availability dates at

If you don’t already have a screenshot service installed, you can try https://snipboard.io or https://skitch.com/.
You can share the direct link to the image as a response to this topic.

The error we are getting is.

Availability date is required if you set the product’s availability to backorder or pre-order [availabilityDate]

So they would need to set a date manually for each product?

Any other way of adding a date to this field in the feed?

    Hi @dspink,

So they would need to set a date manually for each product?

Yes, if products are out of stock with backorders enabled, setting the [availabilityDate] value is required for each one, and would not be addressable via any global settings or default values.

If you wish to bulk-update that attribute in your Google Merchant Center account, you can do so using a spreadsheet upload as described in the Google documentation here: https://support.google.com/business/answer/3370250?hl=en

I hope this helps! Let us know if you have any other questions.
