• AVADA theme, LIVE editor, WHITE screen, Loading circle, spinning circle

I’m having the same problem on ALL of my AVADA websites (as other people have mentioned on various forums; it all started around the same time appx. 1.5 ~ 2 months ago.? I’m especially wondering how many other folks are experiencing this same issue?

All PHP configs are correct. No additional plugins on a CLEAN AVADA Fushion Theme install, with NOTHING added (that would create a conflict such as plugins, tweaks etc.) except the AVADA wizard template installed. These other websites on the same server have been operating successfully for years, and suddenly, they ALL start having the same problem of ~ LIVE editor, WHITE screen, Loading circle, spinning circle. everything else is working well as usual.

AVADA Theme is absolutely amazing and a wonder contribution to the global community.. but why is AVADA Support ignoring the issue when we ask for an explanation?

AVADA support is ignoring the request for an explanation.

I bought 9 licenses and have been using AVADA for many years. I never asked for support. Now they won’t answer this simple request for an explanation of why their AVADA THEME – LIVE EDITOR seems to be broken when we are thinking of buying new licenses.

Is anyone else experiencing this issue?

  • Hi!
did you find any solution to this? We’re experiencing the same issue and haven’t found a solution yet. Many thanks!

No “solution” because there are so many possible “causes”.

However, I bought a new server (same provider), and did a 100% clean install from absolute zero and the new WordPress/AVADA instance is working … So I came to the conclusion in my case that it was something to do with the server resources (RAM, etc) AND I started using a VPN to reduce issues of IP being throttled that were causing bandwidth issues on WiFi… so I honestly believe that there are so many variables … By performing a 100% clean install I feel that it has proven that it was not the AVADA theme itself… and that it has something to do with server resources and bandwidth and IP (firewall at the hosting company)? Since the 100% clean install worked perfectly I deduce that it is not an issue caused by the AVADA theme itself, nor was it a plugin conflict, because I have all the same plugins installed. The main difference is that I bought the Cpanel Linux server but upgraded to more RAM and processors and bandwidth.

    Yes, the same problem here.
You should turn down the plugins.

But even with no plugins, the same problem.

With or without caching, same problem.

It’s a big problem when you can’t edit the website.
If anyone knows the solution, please let me know.

Hi to all. I have the same problem: after updating WordPress, the Avada theme and Avada Core/Builder plugins to the latest version, the live editor doesn’t working.

Turning off various plugins doesn’t fix the issue.

Anyone have any news on the problem?

Hi, I have the same issue. The Email Encoder Plugin breaks the Avada Live Editor. We need a fix!

I am using the latest version of Avada and of Email Encoder Plugin.

after several years of use of AVADA (which we love) on dozens of websites, we have deduced that it is almost always an issue of the servers resources and the PHP’s ini config.

However, even AFTER the “PHP ini config” has been set to allocate resources properly, there is an endless (infinite) variety of the ways in which combinations of plugins will break either or both, WordPress itself AND/OR the AVADA theme.

The failure most often (not always) does NOT reside within the AVADA theme.. it is the broad array of conflicts created by the infinite potential combinations of available plugins.

In our experience, since AUTOMATTIC invented WordPress, We ALWAYS, first of all, install JETPACK by AUTOMATTIC, and step by step thereafter activate additional plugins, AFTER we have installed the complete array of JETPACK functions. There is a very clean set of plugins that our NGO (not-for-profit) uses (on our limited monthly budget) that covers almost all the bases. (including BACKUPS and an array of security features).

The following is by no means the “ultimate” collage.. however, over the years we have found this group to be the most effective template for a “foundational install” and then …adding on from there, the other items essential to any particular website’s needs.

RE: MailPoet (we send our email campaigns thorough our own servers SMTP and NOT through MAILPOET’s services until we have cash flow and then we keep MailPoet for cosmetics and eventually use KLAVIYO for email and SMS campaigns.

ALL of our CRM (JetpackCRM) runs on and WITHIN our own website(s). The ONLY PAID third party platform that is needed is the extraordinarily excellent JETPACK ADMIN (buying the Jetpack Complete License which covers a BROAD array of necessities) and is a resource which is GREAT for small collectives, startups, individuals who want to manage a volume of trades or communications (or during a potentially huge launch!!) ’til cashflow allows for paying all the upgrades and yes ~~>>> KLAVIYO <~~~ {not mailchimp or constant contact etc! …in our opinion…}.

If you license JETPACK Complete (which includes backups!) .. everything else runs in normal mode (no PRO versions for other plugins are needed with all those unnecessary added expenses)

These plugins (below listed) work well as a base template for AVADA .. but should be activated in the correct order so that all the “handshakes” are activated in a manner that is well-read by the overall install.. Limit Login Attempts Reloaded and Akismet are already on by default (of course!) … then Start with Jetpack (step by step according to the automation with HOPEFULLY you can afford to license JETPACK Complete [our NGO has wholesale alternatives]).. followed by Jetpack CRM (step by step).. then install WOO-COMMERCE if you wish.. followed by the WOO STRIPE plugin..

At this point all of these work together seamlessly (as we have learned and experienced over the years) and built a SOLID foundation.

then W3 Total Cache (step by step) ..

after those have all been set and operational .. then you can install the others … and then … thereafter the testing of additional plugins is easy, to diagnose the new potential conflicts…

We hope this is helpful.. to newbies and wannabes ... we are not Pro's, so-to-speak.. but we aspire ... to be helpful and humble.

    I’m finding the same issue.
Anyone please help with a solution.

Have the same issue. nothing loading; no changes to plugins or server.

Any assistance from Avada support on what appears to be a significant issue?

I bumped into the white screen and spinning circle this morning. Took me a day to figure it out.
It is the certificate https. After I install let’s encrypt on my server, changed cloudflare dns to strict (using the server certificate), and edit the WordPress General Settings to use https in both fileds. Now Avada works correctly!

I was having this issue and found that IT STARTED WORKING AFTER i added the max execution time and input vars directives in my server’s user.ini file:

    max_execution_time = 250;
    max_input_vars = 1900;

If you go to Avada > Status > it’ll tell you if any of your server’s defaults need to be increased. When i did mine, the white screen and spinning wheel went away. Good luck!
