Aveda doesn’t use any of the WordPress filters and your only options are setting up their filters manually (their support team can help you with that), or using the Premium version that handles that for you.

Installed the premium plugin and it is working according to email scanners. The [encode][/encode] short code ignores line breaks. I have to use paragraph break tags to maintain some semblance of my preferred formatting, which adds extra space between lines…

That’s how WordPress handles shortcodes and I sadly don’t have control over that. Have you tried using the the <shift>+<enter> line breaks?

No, but I thought of a cheat. If I leave the last number of the Phone number after the end tag of the short code, my line breaks work…

What encoding technique did you choose?

Looks like it was on HTML entities. I moved up to CSS direction doesn’t foil it either. I see that ROT13 encoding and Polymorphous ROT47/CSS requires JavaScript. Does that mean they might slow down the site because of JavaScript or that I need to enable JavaScript?

That users without JS won’t see the emails.

Moved up to Polymorphous ROT47/CSS. That did the trick. Thanks.
