autoupdates: does not work at some sites

Could you tell me more about the sites where you experience the problem? Are the sites part of a Multisite network? If so, are they the main site of the network, of one of the child sites?

Could you also check and make sure Remote Site Management is activated for those sites? You can check it by going to Jetpack > Settings in your dashboard, and clicking on “Configure” next to the JSON API module.

I am also started experiencing this issue on a number of my sites. https://www.chedworthcentre.org.uk . That is autoupdates are disabled.

One point is that under Jetpack Settings there is no option to configure JSON API, only activate or deactivate it.
