Autoupdate on IPv6 fails

    I am trying to update some plugins and WordPress fails after a few minutes. As my server is also configured for IPv6, I think that the problem is due to WordPress not being able to download updates via IPv6. Is there a way to disable IPv6 for WordPress updates?
