    Hi Tobias,

I am testing out the auto import extension to update the tables from a CSV file online. Unfortunately it doesn’t work, and it is because of the wp-cron job disabled on my host server (the scheduling post feature is not working either). I’m on aruba, an italian host.

I tried defining again the variable wp_cron in the wp-config.php file, I tried installing some plugin to fix it, I tried creating a scheduled task on my host calling a script with this command in it
    wget https://websiteexample.com/wp-cron.php?doing_wp_cron > /dev/null 2>&1
but nothing seems to have effect.

I don’t care about the scheduling posts feature, but autoupdating my tables would be a great plus, so maybe we might do something on the plugin side?
I made a search here about it and I’m pretty sure you are already aware about this problem. Do you have a working solution or setup?

Thanks for taking this thread in consideration.
    Daniele

    Hi,

thanks for your post, and sorry for the trouble.

Sorry, there’s nothing really that I can do here ?? The Extension relies on that WP-Cron feature, so if that is turned off, the Extension won’t work ??

    Regards,
    Tobias
