Autosmushing not working on image upload

    On the settings panel “Automatically smush my images on upload” is set.
    When I upload images to media library they are not automatically optimized.
    Only if I press the “Smush Now!” button next to each image the image gets optimized.
    Could you please fix this?

  • Hi @valdinia,

    Are you using the Media Library in Grid View and uploading the images from same screen or you’re uploading images from the “Add New” screen under Media?

    It is not working for me either automatically.

    I am adding media from the posts themselves.

    @jamiek47,

    When you’re adding the Image from the post, it displays the button Smush Now for the image ( Which is a bug ), but plugin does process the image in background, you’ll be able to see it, if you check the same image in Media Library.
