Autosave Is Not Working On WordPress 4.6

  • yesterday I manually Update My wordpress 4.5.3 To 4.6 But When I Try To add New Post I Get This IS My Autosave has stopped working. I’m running 4.6 and have noticed that for the last couple of posts Autosave simply isn’t functioning. The message on the status line hangs at “Saving draft . . . “

    Any idea about what might be causing this?

    Could you disable all the plugins and see if it works? And also change your theme to a default WordPress theme to check. Let me know how it goes. ??

    same problem here. But the post actually IS BEING SAVED.

    It says “saving draft” and the publish button is disabled.. but if you go away from that page into “drafts”, the post is there, hopefully as you left it.. and now you can click publish.

    I will investigate if the theme or a plugin is causing this.

    Could you also do the steps mentioned above?
