Autorun search/replace profiles.

Hello,
I understand that using the pro version it’s possible to save profiles for later use, but is it possible to run these profiles via an external theme/plugin function?

For example, say I have two themes, theme A and theme B. When I switch from theme A I want a search/replace to run on wp_posts to replace all the instances of the string “Theme A” to “Theme B”, and when I switch back to theme A I would like to replace all the instances of the string “Theme B” to “Theme A”.

Is this possible?
If it’s possible, is it possible without using profiles?

I’m aware of the dangers of of unsupervised database changes.
