Autoresponder bugs: Users not sent to, if newsletters temporary deactivated
-
Hi dear MailPoet people,
I use Mailpoet for a drip campaign of eight emails over the course of a week. I regularly update the messages, since I am constantly optimizing the whole experience for my users.
Unfortunately, so far I found two bugs, which take effect if I deactivate the newsletter to work on it:
1) If I work on the first newsletter, which is sent out immediately, new subscribers will not receive this email, only the rest of the stack.
2) If I work on some other newsletter, which is sent some time after signup, new subscribers will not be added to the list of recipients of this email. I had this case just minutes ago: One address is scheduled for all other emails, but not for that which I had been working on when they signed up.So currently, MailPoet allows to have drip campagins, but it is a pain in the ass to make sure all subscribers really do get all their mail. And since seconds can make the difference here, “just prepare the text offline and quickly upload it to get the whole thing over with quickly” will not fit the bill.
Best
Manuel
